This floor had been previously coated with Epoxy Products Epoxy Coating almost 10 years ago to the day and, although still in good condition,
F R Aviation decided that the flooring should be refreshed and uplifted.
Client Requirements
F R Aviation required a hard wearing floor coating that would lift the presentation and provide excellent service for at least 10 years.
To conform with Health and Safety, all walkways needed to offer good slip resistance.
Fire Point location areas were coated in red Epoxy Coating.
Contrasting coloured walkways bordered with a yellow lines.
The bay jointing and main expansion joint needed reinstatement and resealing.
Installation Programme
Preparation
The flooring was first chemically washed using Epoxy Products cleanser. This was followed by thorough STG Floor Sanding to abrade the existing epoxy floor coating. All bay joints were cut with a Concrete Saw.
Completion
All work was successfully completed in two stages and on time. The finished result was stunning. The contrasting walkways bordered with a yellow line provided an outstanding decorative appearance. We had provided a clean, decorative and safe slip resistant walkway
